I told them when they looked at time that the floors needed replaced and that water was not working now they want their money back and for me to pay them for the repairs that they did. The rent is $495 a month, I would like it at $400-425 a month

With my uncles 500 for my place we will have to come up with 400$ / month which is very resonable for us. My husband has a decent job and I go to college full time, and in 2-3 years we looking to buy.. just not yet.

Anywho.. I have people telling me I am selfish for wanting a bigger place when the place I have is perfectly fine and paid for and that I should just stay and save. It is just so hard to stay organized and keep clean with this many people. Is this a dumb idea to rent? I have never rented before and I am very nervous about it. Can anyone give me advise please..
also my uncle is extremeley rilable.. He has money, he is just looking for a small place here

I did some repair work under my trailer, and had to slit open my plastic to get to it. Now I have replaced the insulation, but I need to put the plastic back together. The slit is big enought that I need to put another piece of plastic over the hole. I only have wood available on one side. On that side, I can use my hand stapler and staple it into the wood. Then one side has a metal edge. And the other two sides I just need to connect it to the existing plastic. The staples will just fall out if I put them from plastic to plastic. How do I this this correctly?

I have many big water marks on the ceiling, the board covering where the two section join has come down. one light fixture in the ceiling leaks water in heavy rain. The boards around the outside under the roof lets water in and the water is coming in over the fireplace and different rooms. I am 73, no job very little money and can’t afford to fix but worry about wires. I rescue dogs so this needs to be repaired. I was told there is no flashing on the roof. I need help but don’t know where to find it. I have never used the fireplace.

I purchased a moblile home from a guy and it turns out he conned me and wants thousands MORE that what he should be getting. He harrasses me, threatens to evict me and says our purchase agreement is now a rental and the place is FALLING apart. I am afraid to pay him another dime until I have more security that the place is mine. I cant put the money involved for repairs and pay him too. Plus, I refuse to put money into the place if he is planning to take it back from me. i am not the first person he screwed out of money and I think at this point, he wants me out so he can con someone else out of a down payment and monthly payments on a dump of a mobile home. The place is a mess and i am willing to fix it up as planned, but he said it needed $1000 worth of work when it really is at least $10-12K worth of it needed. I am a single mom of two sons, I am in sales and I got had. Please, any advise at this point is helpful. I didnt pay Dec. and think he’s going to court this week to evict me.
