I’m sorry to hear of your hard times, many people are going through rough times, One method of getting things done around the house is exchanging your service for the service of another. That is do something for someone else that you are good at and in turn that person can help repair your home.

If you are in a rural or partly rural area call USDA (dept of agriculture) and ask about rural development (RDA) loans or grants. Also if your power is through an EMC (electric membership co) many of those give grants for things like this. In a city try urban development. Anywhere contact service clubs like Kiwanis to see if they do such service projects and contact the local tech school building trades dept and see if they do helping work for experience. Sometimes Habitat for Humanity does some rep[airs too. If you rent this home not own it try working with landlord and check the possibilities of public housing or “moderate income housing”
